Villa Acadia

Villa Acadia is a project that we designed based on a thirteen old house existing, that once we started the construction had to be taken down because of its structure. In the center of town, this house had the difficulty of its programme and the amount of sqm available, keeping the pura vida feeling of the outdoors. The house combines a 2 bedroom studio and a 4 bedroom house, with big and open outdoor areas, emphasizing the relationship with nature. This feeling is accomplished by the use of planters, around almost the whole perimeter, and the use of materials such as Teak wood and exposed concrete.
